A temporary passage comes to mind when I think about an adventure. It’s a sojourn. What a beautiful word – one can almost get the feeling around what it might mean. There’s a sense of ease and acceptance perhaps with the journey and it’s transient nature.
Although this landscape is a familiar place to me there is something new and adventurous in each experience I have there. At this moment the wings of change had been in motion. A season departing on the breath of summer had made way for the spirited palette of fall with it’s magical color.
It’s the sojourner’s way, I hope, to capture these moments so they don’t slip past our consciousness.

Lovely art work.
Beautiful colours Catherine. There is such a lovely warm feeling in this artwork, although at the end of summer one can feel a residual warm glow.
Thank you Helene! Yes I know what you are saying. There is a residual warm glow at the end of summer.
