Unknown Faces

Unknown Faces began in late 2024 as an intuitive exploration with no particular destination in mind. I did not know who these women were, why I was painting them, or whether they would ever be shown. I only knew I wanted to remain faithful to what was emerging. Over time, seven distinct figures appeared—each carrying her own atmosphere of color, pattern, memory, and place. The exhibition itself arrived later, as though the paintings had been quietly preparing for it all along.

Each painting holds a brief pause—an attentive moment where light settles across the table and everyday objects become quietly luminous.
