“Floral Fusion”: Original Artwork with a Poetic Touch

“Floral Fusion” 8″x 10″ Oil on canvas – $300

traveling through time
illusions of space
movements implied suggestion

notes of light linger
as shadows shift
the common ground

untouched and fleeting
yesterdays heirloom hour
surfaces in passing kindness

agents of change
a passage linked
by an invisible fusion

Creativity is a fusion on multiple levels. Today, I decided to add a poem as an adjunct to the painting. The poem touches on thoughts and feelings I have around the finished painting.

I do find myself in a constant relationship with time. A curiosity lingers around my place in connection to time as well as the significance of the past within the here and now. I don’t think they are truly separate entities and I enjoy mixing old and new in a lot of areas of my life.

This oil painting was created in my studio incorporating a nostalgic pitcher with a pear and lemon and some printed scarves on the wall in the background. All of these items were borrowed from a friend and provided me with an opportunity to continue to explore this idea of “time” with things that have a bit of a history.

If you have a specific experience with the artwork or the poem I would love to hear. Contact

This was painted on a gallery wrapped canvas that comes ready to hang. Of course it can also be framed. The image in a frame is for suggestion only. Enjoy!
