“Tulip Fields”

This painting captures the essence of my excitement painting on site at Holland Ridge Farms during their tulip festival. The simple structures of farm life are captivating. The buildings provide a rich backdrop to the intense rainbow of color in the fields. It was a story waiting to happen on canvas.

The tulips were breathtaking. Multiple varieties to feast ones eyes upon and take in the marvelous texture. The colors were so much more than one could reasonably put on the canvas. Nature is truly amazing. This opportunity inspired bringing that vibrancy home. It could be treasured as a work of art. You could enjoy it for many seasons.
