My work is deeply driven by color and influenced by my admiration for early Expressionist painters. This piece carries that emotive spirit through visible, energetic brushwork and a playful presence of pattern. Everyday objects become elevated within the composition. They are arranged with varied patterns. An intentionally unexpected sense of perspective invites curiosity and closer engagement.
I chose this to be part of Table Top Stories. Its warmth of palette reminds me of gatherings with friends. During these gatherings, memorable moments and conversations often unfold.

Hi Andrea, Thank you for asking and for the compliment! I don’t share about my process. Although I have always used Ultramarine Blue to do my sketch in before adding other color.
