The Geometry of Color captures the harmony of line, color, and form in an expressive, uplifting way. This “table top story” begins with a simple transparent green wine bottle. It is joined by a dark blue ceramic creamer, a pear, and richly hued purple plums. In the warmth of the palette, these everyday objects gain something more. They have a sense of presence that extends beyond the table.
The painting reflects my passion for still life, blending creativity, design, and echoes of the expressionist and fauvist movements. Varied brushwork and imaginative color choices stir emotion, creating a dialogue between tradition and modern influence.
I often draw from objects I’ve collected over the years, each with its own quiet history. Placed together in a painting, they become new symbols of time and place. These symbols spark fresh conversations that extend beyond the studio.
