Working with color has always been one of the greatest joys of painting for me. My love affair with color began in childhood, vividly etched in my memory by the oversized Crayola crayons I adored in kindergarten. I’ll admit, I even “borrowed” a few without permission—an impulsive act that taught me my first lesson about honesty. Even then, color captivated me, sparking feelings of joy and wonder. Coloring was pure magic.

This still life rekindles that love for color and its power to transform the everyday into something extraordinary. Each object in this arrangement carries personal meaning, tied to moments and memories from my past. For the viewer, the objects might appear to come together in a random way, but for me, their connection lies in the vibrant palette and the harmony of shapes and patterns that weave them into a unified whole.
