Heading back to the season of spring in this oil painting. I have one small Azeala on the side of my house and each year it blooms in this beautiful shade of reddish pink. I don’t see it often because its not viewable from a window but only when I walk by that area. This small clipping was just enough inspiration for a painting and recording aspects of the vibrant nature of spring. I added in some floral imprinted fabric and welcomed a palette of soft and saturated color.
