Tapestry and Fruit was inspired by an exploration of perspective and color relationships. I gathered a mix of everyday objects and cloth. I arranged a still life with classic elements. Then, I lifted them onto the table to shift the point of view and add an unexpected twist.
A palette of vibrant hues brings playfulness to the painting. Rich jewel tones balance and anchor the composition in warmth. Placing complementary colors side by side created energy and contrast, giving the piece a lively, contemporary feel.
