  1. Beautiful! It is paint as Manet said when someone criticized the pant legs on his portrait of Emile Zola’s. You probably know that and I hope I got that right. Feel free to correct me if I didn’t. Have a great evening!

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Oh my goodness, Catherine, but this is just incredible! Love the red dots on the vase … love the checked patterns, love the red lines and the green flowers on the wallpaper, and just love the paint dabs that are the peonies! This is exquisite! Outstanding painting!
