“Orange Slices of Light” 6″ x 6″ Oil on canvas – $75
I don’t know what it is about oranges but I love them as a subject. Exploring the vibrant range of orange hues is part of the fun for me.
In this simple still life arrangement I experimented with some different color combinations. Pre-priming the canvas with a neutral tone seems to lend itself to new outcomes. While I like the palettes brightness I think it also has a subtle nature to it.
I wonder how this would look done in a larger scale….
