“Back Roads” 7″ x 16″ oil on wood SOLD
Back roads are some of my favorite ways to travel. They may take a little longer but the extra time is worth it for the benefit of the view.
This scene is along the D&R Canal in Princeton, NJ. There are several historic homes close by as well as a huge mall! It’s always interesting to me how in some areas I can go from the “rat race” of consumerism to the peace and tranquility of nature within seconds.
I’m not sure what I would do without back roads.
