“Festival of Fruit and Cloth” 12″ x 16″ oil on canvas panel $295
I can’t say winter isn’t colorful! And while Spring is here I’m going to share one of the still life paintings I worked on this past winter.
This painting was ultimately driven by the colorful cloth background and the fruit. A nice switch from the more subdued colors of the winter months. Although I paid some tribute to those in the kettle and wall in the background.
This was a fun piece to paint. The kettle was a bit of a challenge as I sought out hints of color in the body and emphasized them to bring some liveliness to this vintage relic.
