“Winter on the Lake /7” x 12″ oil on plywood SOLD
It’s been a bit cold here in New Jersey! So cold that this year Carnegie Lake in Princeton froze. This plein air painting was done one afternoon on a scrap piece of plywood I had. I primed it with a bit of gesso and hit the road!
It was quite brisk and with the wind I really needed to escalate my efforts to get this down with some speed. A few final touches were added once I got back home and warmed up.
A few days later when I was back that way I dropped the painting off at the residence front door.
