A fun, spontaneous visit to Bordentown, NJ with a fellow artist was an opportunity to see new aspects of this charming historic town situated beside the Delaware River. We trampled along the pebbled “beach” to garner some shade and absorb the view of the marina with it’s collection of colorful boats. It was a beautiful sunny day. Families were out cleaning their sailing vessels and just enjoying the hints of summer on the water.
I brought along an 8″ x 10″ white canvas and was captured by the arrangement and colors of the boats dockside. I look forward to visiting again for some plein air painting!
