This is a recent figure drawing done with colored pencil on dark paper. It’s my first exploration using thistechnique with the figure.  I took it upon suggestion by a drawing instructor I currently have. He shared with me an article on the artist Fred Hatt who works like this.  I’m no match but I am having so much fun exploring figure drawing coming from this angle.  It fits my passion for color and value.  I also feel such freedom in just allowing myself to “scribble” and find my way.
