Over the weekend I spent 2 days at the Mapleton Preserve which is part of the D&R Canal Park in Central New Jersey.
The Mapleton Preserve used to be the home of Princeton Nurseries and now serves as a historic site with old greenhouses and trails that take you through the grounds.
This past Sunday I chose to paint the building that was the former offices for Princeton Nurseries but which now serves as the headquarters for the D&R Canal Park. The complete painting is a 9″ x 12″ Oil on panel.
This will be on exhibit as part of the juried show “Legendary Locations” from Oct. 8 – January 7, 2014. The Gallery at South Brunswick Municipal Building, Monmouth Junction, NJ.
