Wildflower Symphony is an 8″x 10″ plein air oil painting that was done at Duke Farm in Hillsborough, NJ. This was part of the estate of Doris Duke. It’s an amazing place full of gardens and rich architecture all developed many years ago by Doris’s father who was a tobacco tycoon. I found this beautiful patch of flowers near the “Foundation”. I was inspired by the colors.
